30 days

So I'm still counting the days until Brazil. I have my pack, and have been trying to learn portuguese, and South American geography for a while now. I've also got in contact with a few people who are also going on this adventure. It's amazing the wonderful things Facebook can do. I did get my ticket and I'm flying out on the 11th of Jan. Also am flying with one of the girls who is doing this program. Shes from Vancouver and we will meet up in T-dot to make the 14 hour flight or so to Sao Paulo. Cool eh! It's a night flight, which I'm not exactly looking forward too... (sleeping on a plane is never really that fun) BUT I do happen to have some korean sleeping pills left over, wooo! haha.

My only priority now is to save money. Imagine how hard that is at christmas time with a bunch of family you haven't seen in a year. I just want to buy everything... sadly I can't. I do have a serious shopping problem tho, and its going to have to stop sometime soon or I may starve! (in brazil that is)

So my visa won't be sent back to me until maybe Dec 18th. Thats still a while. I can't wait to have my passport back... I miss it! It's my key to the world. Anyhow, I shall get going, but just one more side note, its -9 in halifax today, and 25 in Sao Paulo.

The Adventure Begins!

So I might be off to Brazil! I decided to take the plunge, and travel alone to a country that yet again, doesn't speak my language. I'm really excited and scared and happy! When I went on my Korea Adventure I had a ton of support. I went with many friends, my company was amazing to me, and its very easy to get around Korea without much knowledge of the Korean language.

Enter Brazil.

Who knows how this is going to be?! I can't seem to find many people who have been there, or even a brazilian to talk to. BUT I feel like if I go alone, I will conquor some of my fears about traveling. Trying to be independant is hard! I can't wait tho. I will try to update this site as much as possible. (hopefully a little bit more than I did with my Korean page).

Heres some links to get you started!
